The Higher Education Trust Fund was established in the Office of the State Treasurer by the 1999 General Assembly to provide non-loan financial aid to Vermont students attending the University of Vermont, the Vermont State Colleges, and other Vermont post-secondary institutions. Each year, the Treasurer's Office submits an annual report on the fund to the Commission on Higher Education Funding.
The State Treasurer's Office is located on the fourth floor at 109 State Street in beautiful downtown Montpelier, Vermont. We are open from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
